I’m a Big 2-Year Old!

Yesterday was my birthday and I had a super fun day. In the morning after eating my cold cereal big-girl style (cheerios & milk!) I got to open some fun presents including cards, cute clothes and an Elmo movie and my own photo album!

Then, Mommy & Daddy took me to the beach where I got to play with a bunch of my friends from church. It was so nice out and I even got knocked over by my first wave (and I didn’t even cry!).

After I took a good nap, I went to see my doctor and I found out that I weigh 23 pounds and I’m 32 1/4 inches tall. My doctor was so nice that he said I could come back and get my shots a different day instead of on my birthday. Yaya and Papa gave me a really cool wagon that Daddy built for me! I can’t wait to take it to the beach!

We had a yummy dinner of macaroni & cheese and baked beans, and then Mommy, Daddy, Yaya, Papa and I went out for dessert! It was so good (except for the brain freeze!).

But the best part of the day for Mommy & Daddy was when I decided that I could go to sleep with no paci. Since the Doctor said I was such a big girl and didn’t need it anymore (Mommy said it had to do with my “overbite”), I was convinced to try it. I even took a nap and went to bed tonight without it again. Everyone is really proud of me.

Welcome to the 2 year old club, Gigi! I like to say that “I am 4…no, 5…no, 6.” You should try it , it’s a funny way to trick your parents!

Love,
Bennett
