Enjoying the beach at two of our favorite spots…
Carlsbad
We figured we may as well take advantage of unemployment again and decided to head down to Carlsbad State Beach with our friends the Freys! We had lots of fun, and baby Liam did great on his first camping trip. As much as she loves the beach and watching the surfers, Gigi was a little unsure when mommy and daddy each paddled out. She’ll get used to soon enough. She did have a ball collecting shells and rocks and playing in the water though!

Huntington Beach
Then my parents got a spot at the seasonal RV park in HB (it’s a parking lot in the summer) last weekend. We had so much fun seeing some old friends and enjoying the downtown and Pier Plaza of our old hometown. We got to see lots of Tia and Unc A which was awesome, too.

When I was little and lived in So. Cal, some friends of my parents used to let us use their motorhome for a week and we would go down to Huntington Beach and camp. That’s the kind of camping I like! Fun times!
