Easter 2009

We had a great Easter!

One of the nice things about living with Mom & Dad is that we were able to leave Gigi home while we got up and arrived at the Carlsbad Flower Fields at 5:15 am to help greet at our church’s sunrise service. It was a beautiful morning and the service went really smoothly with around 900 people which is a lot for our little church!

During the day we worked on building my garden planter box and then in the afternoon we had a big dinner with visitors including David’s parents, Alex & Angelina and our friends the Freys. It was delicious and we wrapped up the evening with a mad Wii bowling tournement (I think Jesse won because I fell asleep and forfeited the championship game- ha!). Here’s Gigi & her buddy Liam.

These beautiful orchids were my grandpa’s plants and I’m astonished to see them still blooming. The plants themselves are probably around ten years old and it sweetly reminds me of my grandpa to see them.

View our photo album! I haven’t had a chance to do captions yet, but they’re pretty self-explanatory. :) The album does include the day after Easter. Alex & Ang stayed the night and on Monday we took a really fun bike ride to our favorite local deli, Tina’s.

Hello Nicole,

I have tried to see your family album. Flickr says it is a Private Page and I am not allowed to view it.

Is there something you can do allow me to view your photos?

Thank you,
Patty Wood
